Mood: stubborn~
Last time I bought something from Ukay Ukay, I wasn’t able to wear it. It’s not that it didn’t fit, it’s just that when I got home and tried it on again, I realized that it really isn’t my style. After that incident, I never bought anything from an Ukay Ukay place ever again. Another reason for me staying away from those places is that I’m quite the fattie. I can see more than 10 stuff that I would want to buy but of course they won’t be having them my size. Also, my feet is bigger than the usual girly size of 6.
However, because of work I have been exposed to the Ukay Ukay areas once more.
This must be said, the clothes are just AWESOME. I’ve been to several stores that really urged me to buy something. I’m leaning towards jackets and dresses. The tops, not so much since they all look so generic and flimsy. But the jackets and the dresses are awesome. So are the boots! My god, if only my feet could fit in those tiny things I’d buy them! Sure they look icky and gross and they smell bad but I bet with my determination, I can have those cleaned and disinfected!
I was seriously considering going back to some stores and buying something. BUT! I think that when I finally have the extra money to spend, Ukay Ukay will be the farthest thing from my mind. Ugh.
Maybe I need one success purchase to really dig this thing. So far I haven’t bought anything from Ukay Ukay stores that I would be proud of. None of those “OH MY GOD! That looks so AWESOME! Where did you buy that?” to which I would modestly reply, “Diyan lang~”
All I need is one purchase to make me a believer.
touch it?
