Hey guys! As of today, I’ll be starting to organize my blogroll again. So if you see me hopping around your blogs and making a damn good mess, please excuse me. I’m trying to cup get a feel of the community again. I will inform you though if I decide to link your blog to mine. I am polite even in giving link love. Take me home nao? XD
Speaking of link love, as I browsed through Technorati, I found and realized something interesting.
When I started out with blogging, I mainly do it for myself. Kind of like masturbation. You do it, it makes you happy and people don’t have to know about it. As people started dropping by my blog and then started asking for more, I found myself inspired and pumped to actually blog not only for myself but for the people who read me.
It was only recently when I started working that I learned how to research backlinks and other SEO stuff (yes loser here I know I know) then I found out a couple of interesting things. One blogger/friend gave me link love for more than one of my posts. One was about romance the shoujo manga style and another on the irony of rain on your wedding day
The first post was quoted because she was inspired to actually try the manga out when she read it in my post. The next post she quoted is about that pathetic phase I went through while nursing the wounds of a broken relationship. (LOL how emo) It was basically about how I fought for the glory of love (okay I’ll stop now) And she quoted it and linked back because apparently one of her friends is going through a similar dilemma. Her friend turned into a monster just like I did.

So needless to say I was really psyched and happy that someone was able to see some sense into my post and actually found them useful. It also reminded me of the life lessons I got to learn because of certain events in my life. And now that I am reminded of that event, I get to check myself again if I’m still on the right track. Not to righteousness, heavens no. But at least to a path where someone wouldn’t have the balls to say “The things you say and the things you do, you hypocrite!”
So yeah, to all of those people who have been reading and stuck with me for the past years. (yes I’m looking at all three of you) I’ll be giving the love back. Expect Sorbetera trail in your blogs and expect posts from me citing your blog posts, I’ll give you all the luvn’ right back. <3
